يتم تقديم الخدمات الصيدلانية في المركز الطبي الدولي ضمن بيئة ديناميكية ومريحة، حيث تقع الصيدلية في الطابق الأرضي للمركز وتقدّم خدمات شاملة لمرضى المركز وزوّاره على حد سواء.
وتتمتع الصيدلية بتصميم يُضفي طابعاً من الهدوء والترحيب، كما تحتوي على مكاتب شبه خاصة يستخدمها فريق الصيدلية المختص لتقديم الاستشارات للمرضى مع الحفاظ على خصوصيتهم وسريتهم.
تعمل الصيدلية في المركز الطبي الدولي يومياً على مدار الساعة وتقدّم خدماتها للمرضى الذين يتم إدخالهم إلى المركز أو إلى قسم الطوارئ، وذلك بالتعاون مع كادر متخصص من مقدّمي الرعاية الصحية.
ويتمتع فريق الصيدلية بعدة مستويات من الخبرات والمعارف والمهارات والمؤهلات، حيث يتكوّن فريق الصيدلية مما يلي: مدير الصيدلية، صيادلة سريريين، صيادلة لمرضى العيادات الخارجية والمرضى المنومين وصيادلة للبيع بالتجزئة (لزوّار المركز الذين يرغبون بشراء الأدوية اللاوصفية فقط) وصيادلة مختصين بعلم الأورام وصيادلة مختصين بالأدوية المخدّرة، وصيدلي معلومات أدوية، بالإضافة إلى منسقي الجودة وفنيي صيدلة متمرّسين.
إن هذا التنوع في فريق الصيدلية يضمن وجود بيئة آمنة لصرف واستخدام الأدوية، كما يضمن تغطية شاملة لحاجات المرضى، وذلك حرصاً منا على تقديم أفضل النتائج لهم. وتشمل هذه التغطية مراجعة سجلات الأدوية الخاصة بالمرضى ومراجعة طلبات المرضى من الأدوية والتحقق منها بناءً على إرشادات مستندة إلى الأدلة، إلى جانب التأكد من تعبئة الطلب بوجود الاستشارة المناسبة.
وتُصدر الصيدلية تقارير طبية باستمرار لضمان مأمونية الأدوية وجودتها العالية وحماية المرضى من التفاعلات الدوائية الضارة،
ويتم السيطرة على جميع العمليات المتعلقة بإدارة الأدوية عن طريق الامتثال للمعايير الدولية الخاصة بسلامة المرضى والامتثال للتعلميات الصادرة عن وزارة الصحة والهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء بهذا الشأن.
